Some Day My Prince Will Come....

Today I had a date with Will and Madi and took them to Disney on Ice! They both really enjoyed it - but I have to say Madi - REALLY enjoyed it! With her giant box of popcorn (she was sharing with bro and mommy) she was glued to her seat. She wanted to wear her one of her princess dresses to the occasion and was torn between Belle and Snow White and finally settled on Belle.

I wish I could have captured the look on her face when Tinkerbell (one of her favorites) flew across the ice - she looked at me in complete awe and said - there's Tinker Bell Mommy - there she is! She really believed with all of her little heart that the Tinker Bell she loved from Peter Pan was really real!

We saw Pirates and The Lion King and all kinds of creatures and critters from Disney Adventures.... but the very end was Madi's favorite. All of the princesses with their prince charmings came out and danced on the ice. As each princess appeared - Madi cheered louder and louder and just could not contain herself. When Belle skated by - she waved at Madi and blew her a kiss and Madi was so excited - Belle waved at me Mommy!

Watching my little girl all dressed up in her princess dress with awe and enchantment in her eyes. She loves princesses so much - I truly believe she believes they really exist. I know some day her prince will come and she won't be my little girl anymore. I hope she has the whole fairy tale - I love that little girl with all of my heart and then some and I will never forgot today - just watching her - my little princess - the world is hers - and dreams really do come true when you're two - going on three!

The many faces of Madi

My usually camera shy Madi decided to ham it up for the camera and let Mommy practice her manual camera settings! We love these gorgeous spring temperatures - the evenings are in the mid-70's - no bugs - and we have lots of extra time to hang out - outside!

And then there were three...

Spring has sprung early this year in Georgia! It's the end of March and everything is in full bloom and the temps are soaring towards 80 degrees! On a beautiful spring day - the Chunkies had a blast running around the yard and hanging up with their new baby brother!

Night Night

The other night - I was getting everybody ready for bed and William told me he wanted to read Hudson a bed time story. William was SUCH a good big brother. We put Hudson in his bed and William covered him up and cozies up to him - and started reading him his Dinosaur Book. William is getting close to reading!!! He can sound out his letters and is start to read words! He just started reading the book and Lil Sis popped in! He said, Madison - you can come too - ! So William read his dinosaur book to Lil Sis and Lil Bro - what a great Big Big Brother O Saurus!

MVP!

SO PROUD of my buddy tonight! At his first night game - under the lights - announcer - music blasting - he was awarded the game ball and was named team MVP! He has been working super hard! He had two power hits to the outfield from the pitcher - not off the tee! In his league - they get three pitches - then if they don't hit it - they get to hit it off the tee! He really loves baseball and has been sleeping in his hat and jersey. Everywhere we go - he wants to wear his jersey and hat - he tells everyone - I'M A BASEBALL PLAYER - and I HAVE A BABY BROTHER! Love this boy - he's my best buddy in the world - I'm so proud of him and I'm so in awe at how this little baby who was addicted to his pacifier and loves his blue bear is becoming a little boy!
