ROAR! William's 4!!!

I can't believe my baby is 4! WOW - no more baby, no more toddler, just an official big boy! And big he is getting! William weighs in at 48 pounds and is 43 3/4 inches tall. He's almost half my weight and 2/3 my height and he's only 4! He's wearing a size 5 or 6 and his shoes are a 12.5 XXW! He's not my Lil Chunky anymore - he's getting tall and slimming down (lost 3 pounds since summer!) but still very solid!
We celebrated his birthday with some of our neighbors and close friends! We had pizza and a specially requested Spinosaurus Cake! Everyone had a great time and William was very proud to be FOUR!

Berry Patch Farms

It was a perfect Fall Day so we headed up to the Berry Patch Farms in Woodstock, GA - only a 15 minute drive from our house for a hayride and some pumpkin picking! It was so nice to go during the week - we had the place almost to ourselves! We said hi to the farm animals, took a hayride and walked through the pumpkin patch! Fall is one of our favorite times of the year in Georgia! Beautiful crisp weather, pretty foliage and pumpkins galore!

Got some MONEY!

Brian just back from a business trip had a wallet full of cash and Madison found it! Whenever I hear silence - I know someone is up to no good! Sure enough she had emptied out his wallet and was hoarding the cash. When I asked her what she had - she laughed and said, "Got some money!"

NAH NAH NAH

Some things just don't change. Looking back through some pictures - I just cannot believe William is going to be FOUR next week. No more baby, no more toddler - just an official big boy - as he keeps reminding me everyday. He's getting so big - talking so well - and working my iphone better than I can! He's changing and growing that's for sure - but after I found these pictures - I had to laugh - something just don't change!

Burt's Pumpkin Farm 2011

Some of our favorite pictures from this season!

A Look Back at the Pumpkin Patch

We just got back from Burt's Farm in Dawsonville! Our third trip with both Chunkies in tow! We beat the crowds but did not beat the rain so our trip was cut a little short. Looking back - it's amazing how much William and Madison have grown since our first trip to Burt's in 2009! I'm just thankful for smiling faces this year :)

Apple Country

Today we headed up to the North Georgia Mountain town of Ellijay to do some apple pickin'! In past years we were always a little on the late side so we made the trek a little earlier this season to get in on some of the good eats! From our house - it's only about an hour and several back, country roads later until we're right, smack in the heart of Apple Country and in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains. The leaves haven't quite turned yet so we were a little bummed we were a few weeks early for a picture perfect fall drive, but we did find lots of apples! This year was very different from last year. The Chunkies have really grown up and we did not need to push a stroller through the orchards! William and Madison both loved filling their 1/2 peck bags with Red Delicious apples - picked straight off the trees! It was a beautiful late summer day with a chill of fall in the air. Strolling through the apple orchards with the background of the mountains - we couldn't have asked for a better day! Now Mommy is going to be spending sometime in the kitchen, baking some apple pies - MMmmmm!
