Sister Madi of the Sunflower Order

Lisa loves her sunflowers and couldn't resist taking the kiddies to the local sunflower fields for some pictures. All dressed up in their cute little outfits - William screamed for a snack and Madison turned in Princess Destruction and wanted to destroy the flowers. It was high noon so I'll just blame it on the hot sun and take a line from Scarlett O'Hare - Tomorrow is another day!!!!

ONE YEAR PHOTO SHOOT!

Jill Hurst from Spitting Image Photography came to house to take pictures of Madison for her one year birthday! Madison was very serious and didn't smile much for the camera - in fact she was a rather elusive subject and preferred to RUN - MADI - RUN! On the other hand we did learn 2 1/2 was the perfect age for bribery. We bribed William with some candy to sit still and smile for the camera and we ended up getting some of the best pictures of him - he was also extremely cooperative! Amazing what a little M & M can do!

BAHAMAS!

The kiddies broke in their passports with their first international trip to the Bahamas or Bamamas as William called them! We stayed at Atlantis for 5 days and had an"interesting" time! On Day 3 the kids came down with the Bahamaian stomach flu and we pretty much had a scream fest from that point on. In between all the diapers changes we did swim with the dolphins which was one of the most amazing things we've ever done - hit the beach and the pools. Brian and I rode half of the water slides - all of which would agree would be banned in America - but so super fun!!!! We had one fun night by ourselves and enjoyed Chop Stix, some gambling in the casino and the club Aura which was a lot of fun! We are all happy to be back on American soil and agree the kids won't see the inside of a hotel room or plane until they're outta diapers and 18 years old :)

ONE TOT, TWO TOT

School is out and summer is here! We are in the midst of some big changes in the Lossie Home! William said BYE BYE DIAPERS last Friday and we are in the midst of BOOTCAMP POTTY TRAINING! So far - he is doing very well and we're very proud of him! We have the house stocked with a potty on each level and so far we've potty'ed on command with only a few accidents. Maybe later this week we'll venture out of the house and see how it goes :)

While William is saying BYE BYE DIAPERS - Madison is saying BYE BYE BOTTLE. William was addicted to his pacifer - but gave up his bottle at 9 months - Madison never really took a pacifer - but is having a hard time giving up her bottle. We finally found a sippy cup she likes and the bottle is going bye bye.

They're growing up so fast. No more babies in the Lossie House - now we have TWO TOTS!

Here we are - the four us! Brian, aka Daddy, Lisa, aka Mommy, William and Madison. With two kids 18 months apart, everyday is an adventure! We hope you enjoy our posts and pictures as much as we love experiencing them!
