4 MONTHS OLD

Hudson is 4 months old today - I just don't know where the time is going with this one! I think he is going for the award of World's Most Perfect Baby! He sleeps well through the night - wakes up with a smile, smiles all day long and rarely cries! He is such a content happy baby - he is a joy to be around and I just don't want him to grown up :( He is rolling over, laughing and getting ready to cut his first tooth. He is growing up - like it or not - Madi and William are very excited and can't wait til he can run and play with the pack!!!!

JUMPING INTO SUMMERTIME

It's a whole new world for the kids this summer - both are swimming GREAT! We did swim lessons twice a week January - April. It was lots of time, lots of money - but the results - priceless!!!! Two swimmers and a step closer to safer in the pool!

My little Hudson Hornet is 3 months old today - the newborn baby is gone :( What a perfect little boy he is. He sleeps 12-14 hours a night, always a smile and is such as sweet, happy little boy. I don't' know what we did to deserve such a perfect baby, but we thank God for him everyday. He is so loved and has brought so much joy to our lives and so many people around us. I can't imagine my life without him. There are days when three little ones can be difficult - juggling all of the activities and trying to be in two places at once is the hardest. Going to the grocery with all three is Mission Impossible and I have come close to handing someone some money in a parking lot to go in and get the one or two items I need for dinner! But when you look at that little face and that flock of blond hair and see how sweet and perfect he really is - it just makes it all worth it. We wanted a big family with kids running around and lots going on - I'm so happy my prayers were answered. It's a crazy, fun, busy life and I wouldn't change a thing!!!

Happy Easter

Trying to teach a 3 & 4 year old about the real meaning of Easter has been more challenging than Christmas by far! They love the Easter Bunnies and the real bunnies and the egg hunts - but we've been weaving Jesus into the holiday as well. We started simple and told William we celebrate Easter because Jesus saved the world. And we go to church to thank him for what he has done for us. After getting dressed for church and taking pictures and seeing his Easter Basket - I asked William if knew the real meaning of Easter. He said I need to tell Jesus "thank you" for saving the world. Mission Accomplished!

E I E I OHHHHH

We spent a day at Tanglewood Farm and had a blast. William would barely go near the animals - as far as Madi - I'm starting to agree with Brian's cousin!!!! We'll just call her Ellie Mae and her Critters!

Some Day My Prince Will Come....

Today I had a date with Will and Madi and took them to Disney on Ice! They both really enjoyed it - but I have to say Madi - REALLY enjoyed it! With her giant box of popcorn (she was sharing with bro and mommy) she was glued to her seat. She wanted to wear her one of her princess dresses to the occasion and was torn between Belle and Snow White and finally settled on Belle.

I wish I could have captured the look on her face when Tinkerbell (one of her favorites) flew across the ice - she looked at me in complete awe and said - there's Tinker Bell Mommy - there she is! She really believed with all of her little heart that the Tinker Bell she loved from Peter Pan was really real!

We saw Pirates and The Lion King and all kinds of creatures and critters from Disney Adventures.... but the very end was Madi's favorite. All of the princesses with their prince charmings came out and danced on the ice. As each princess appeared - Madi cheered louder and louder and just could not contain herself. When Belle skated by - she waved at Madi and blew her a kiss and Madi was so excited - Belle waved at me Mommy!

Watching my little girl all dressed up in her princess dress with awe and enchantment in her eyes. She loves princesses so much - I truly believe she believes they really exist. I know some day her prince will come and she won't be my little girl anymore. I hope she has the whole fairy tale - I love that little girl with all of my heart and then some and I will never forgot today - just watching her - my little princess - the world is hers - and dreams really do come true when you're two - going on three!
